Goalball Exhibition comes to Oxford
With the Olympics just 100 days away why not take this chance to try a new sport and get involved with Goalball, a sport suitable for all with an exhibition being held at Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre on the 12th May
Goalball is a sport that was developed by those with a visual impairment but suitable for all to play with blindfolds worn by all. With two teams of three trying to score a goal past each other in the opposite goal by rolling the ball it can be quite fast and very skilled. If you would like to take part or just come down to watch then the exhibition will run from 11.00-16.30 with no need to book. Team GB Goalball athlete Chris Oakley will also be present to offer tips & advice.
