We have a huge variety of energetic and relaxing activities, sessions and courses for people of all ages and abilities.

Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock. Most players will quickly pick up the skills to play a rally with a friend. It's easy to learn, social and fun.

Swimming
Swimming is a healthy activity that can be enjoyed by everyone. It's an excellent and relaxing way to exercise as the water supports the body, so less stress is placed on joints and bones.

Racketball
Racketball is played with a racquet and a hollow rubber ball. Unlike most racquet sports, such as tennis or badminton, you can use the court’s walls, floor and ceiling surfaces. It’s a fun way to stay in shape.

Squash
Squash is a racquet sport played by two or four players in a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball. It gives you an excellent cardiovascular, upper and lower body workout.

Swimming lessons for adults
You are never too old to start swimming and adult lessons also form part of SwimSchool.

Children's birthday parties
We offer a range of children’s parties at our leisure centres including Big Day Swim Parties, Big Day Bounce Parties, Big Day Skate Parties and Big Day Sports Hall Hire. Let us organise your child's birthday party and we will even do the tidying up afterwards.

We offer a wide variety of progressive sports courses including football, badminton, basketball and trampolining.

Indoor 5-a-side football
For many, football is simply known as ‘the beautiful game’. Playing football involves strength, stamina and co-ordination. With a game lasting around as long as you want, it’s a great workout for all ages and both sexes.

We offer a range of recreational activities to help the over 50's and over 60's achieve a healthier lifestyle in a relaxed and social environment.

Junior gym
The Junior Academy is our fitness initiative for 12-15 year old's. Sessions take place in our gyms under the supervision of our dedicated advisors.

Pilates
Pilates is a combination of strength and mobility work which develops your core strength to help keep the body balanced and provide support for the spine.

Swim School
We offer a comprehensive learn to swim programme working in partnership with the Amateur Swimming Association's (ASA) National Plan for Teaching Swimming.

Indoor basketball
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams of five players each try to score points against one another by placing a ball through a high hoop.

No Strings Badminton is a fresh, new initiative that makes it simple and extremely sociable for more people to welcome the benefits of badminton back into their lives, grab a racket and head out for a spot of convenient on court action.
